When Dr. Tegelhutter pastored a church for eleven years, the church would host either a 12 hour or 24 hour prayer vigil every quarter. People from the congregation would sign up for two hour time slots and come and pray... and the results where absolutely incredible. From weather in a foreign country literally changing as they prayed, to a runaway who had been gone for days returning home as they prayed, to a life being spared in a horrific automobile accident while they prayed... too much to list here. The church also had a weekly prayer service on Wednesdays that saw some crazy things as well. Relentless Ministries would love to teach the dynamics of developing your church into a praying church. We do this in a two day seminar with lots of practicum time as well.

Prayer changes things. In the dire state our nation is currently in, the time for the church as a whole to pray is now. 2 Chronicles 7:14 (AMP), "And My people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves, and pray and seek (crave, require as a necessity) My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear [them] from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land."
